And deny the resurrection. And Christ’s ascension. And... and... and... Of course this will bring us to the definition of a Christian – who is a Christian? A loose definition would be: “A follower of Christ”. But that is too wide. Then people who believe in Jesus as a historical figure and admire his ways and life, may also call themselves Christians (Read on).
Maybe one can rephrase the question and ask: Who is a Christian according to the reformed tradition? Or: can a person (especially a pastor) in a reformational church deny the virgin birth, resurrection, etc etc? This immediately gives a different perspective, doesn’t it?
