The longing we sometimes feel that does not have its fulfillment in anything we live through from the cradle to the grave, yet still we feel that yearning; this longing that has no fulfillment in this life, is a powerful indication of the existence of Heaven — of more to the picture than we presently see. (C.S. Lewis). CS Lewis called this a “homecoming device”.
