My identity ... character by the grace of God!

My identity -- Who I am and why am I here on earth?

There are three facets of man´s identity according to the Bible: man's relationship with God, his relationship with other people, and his relationship with nature. With regard to man's relationship with God, man was immediately created in a relationship with God where God is sovereign and man is dependent on Him. Furthermore, man's identity lies in being God's image. Man's purpose or calling is to love God above all and everyone. God's command to man is to be fruitful and to become many. Therefore the second facet of man's identity is that he will have neighbors and will live in loving relationship with other people. The third facet is man's relationship with nature. Since God has prepared everything for man to live on earth, He creates man on the sixth day to enjoy His creation.
